EPIDURALS – Injections into the epidural space for back pain relief.
FACET JOINT INJECTIONS – Corticosteroids and anesthetics are placed between the vertebrae directly in the facet joint area for precise diagnosis and arthritic joint pain relief.
SACROILIAC JOINT INJECTIONS – Anti-inflammatory steroid medication and local anesthetic provide relief from pain caused by arthritis, injury or strain of the sacroiliac joint.
RADIOFREQUENCY LESIONING – Nerves from painful joints are precisely and safely lesioned to decrease or eliminate pain.
DISCOGRAPHY – Diagnostic injection of radiopaque dye into spinal discs to identify the painful disc prior to neuro-surgical procedures.
SELECTIVE NERVE BLOCK – Diagnostic injection of anesthetic onto specific nerves to help identify the source of spinal pain.
VERTEBROPLASTY – This procedure stabilizes spinal vertebrae, which can dramatically and permanently reverse a patient’s pain.
KYPHOPLASTY – The procedure of choice for severely compressed vertebrae, it uses a small balloon inflated inside the vertebra and a special stabilizing cement.
SPINAL CORD STIMULATOR – Implantation of electrodes into the spine and a small battery under the skin to block pain of spinal origin.
